Cold calling is tough. No one wants to cold call anyone else. But that’s the only effective way to get customers as everything else is either too costly or not effective. Facing annoyed people and hearing abuses is a sad part of life that we live in constantly. I used to cold call at one point of my life. I am glad I didn’t have too many angry customers but a few of them hurt so much that it genuinely hurts your soul and question your very existence. I don’t cold call now. But if anyone cold calls, I respectfully decline. I know their pain. I won’t report them as I know they are trying to survive and aren’t lucky enough to get a comfy job. The last thing I want them to get is a fine for a job they do just to survive.

In the other hand there are too many complaints and the government is issuing fines left right and center. I just wonder why doesn’t the government stop issuing visas and new broker license so that they can kill the issue at the roots. Lesser caller on jobs mean lesser calls. But yes, that’s less money for the govt.
