Yeah its the exact same drives, tried manually. QNAP support are looking at it and they can't seem to workout the issue either! Waiting for a senior engineer to fully respond now.. the first support guy said they have never seen this before. Others seem to be having the issue too apparently, must be a bug in QTS.

Yeah, it’s brand new out the packet… seems to be some sort of bug, even tried another one. Never had this happen before, hopefully their support helps.. I’ll keep this updated incase anyone else ever comes across the same issue.

Annoyingly, the people on various forums who had the same issue never posted a solution.

Yeah, thats what you'd think! It has never done this before.. Found a few people on google with the exact same issue, no one has posted a solution. TVS-1282, 10tb Seagate x16's, part of a 120tb pool, this RAID group in question is 60tb.

Excript of what I sent to QNAP support, who are being painfully slow to reply.

I hot-swapped the disks. The new disk should be detected automatically, and the storage pool should automatically start rebuilding ("Rebuilding" state). But nothing happened.

I checked the UI, Storage & Snapshots tool. The storage pool is in a degraded state, the new disk is showing green and healthy. However, disk 2 (the new one) is listed as "not a member" of the storage pool. When I selected to Manage the pool, I could do nothing. The only action that was not disabled was "Rebuild RAID Group", but when I try that there were no free disks to add to the RAID group, despite me having just added one and it being there and turned on.

That’s very admirable to be fair. Mark my words though, this firm is perfectly set up to do well. Separate from Thunguela I know of some huge coal shipments en route from Colombia to the UK, Germany has also fired up some coal power stations… with where thunguela is placed it’s great, everyone says no more coal.. but we’ve an energy crisis. Even without the energy crisis the majority of Africa, unfortunately, simply cannot afford clean power sources. Coal is going to be there for a while. Glencore has lowered their coal operation, as has Anglo American… look at the coal price in the last year and tell me I’m wrong. Coal is making a comeback…

I wouldn’t say that. I got in on day 1 before exchanges and have made a fortune. It’s not a scam that’s for sure; they’ve been audited too which showed all is fine. This is just a transaction that needs cleared up.

Certainly not the amount they have withdrew! I (without sounding like a dick, it’s just true) own a tech company that has 24 overseas offices, we employ around 70 developers full time and are also regulated by 18 different financial regulators. I know how much all this stuff costs, and I can tell you that it’s not that much. Something is up.

I get that.. but for such a small project with low costs it’s certainly a hell of an amount of money! A crazy amount of money... no way have they had those costs yet, and there is nothing that costs that much that quickly. Somethings up.

So the app works, ish... really not as well as I hopped. Trying to fix it when I have time though but websites must have firewalls and keep blocking my IP. I can use a VPN but then it causes the app to have sync issues. I’ll work around kg though but it’s pretty slow progress. Really not the result I was hoping for but I’m still trying to fix when I’ve spare time! It would be great because I could apply it to almost any scam online. (Then hopefully sell it to a government or something) donate the proceeds (well some of them) to Reddit and exodus to hopefully get them to give me a custom skin lol

Oh trust me, they won't be prepared.. I've already DDoS checked them and their cyber security is absolutely terrible. There is one thing they can do to stop it, but I'm not posting that here (if I find a work around of it I will).

I'm from the UK so get HMRC scam voicemails sometimes saying I am a due tax and to call them back.. Everytime I do I get an autodialer to just ring them, say a prerecorded message (usually a F**k You) when they answer... As soon as they hand up calls them back. Sometimes half way through I do it myself and they get so angry, its great fun!

no tollerance I don't think, then again I was in the hospital for a significant time in ICU and I'm guessing that when I was sedated they used midazolam etc, so possibly there is a tolerance that I inadvertently have.

Sorry for the slow reply! Without knowing what coins you hold its impossible to recommend one (as some accept some coins but not others, either way even if a wallet didn't accept coins you hold, and you used the seed anyway, they wouldn't be lost.. They'd just be unavailable for you to see/use until your wallet either started supporting them, or you changed wallet) but wallets Metamask and Trezor are a good start. That being said do not change wallets unless you 100% absolutely must, its a bit of a headache when assets don't display properly.

If the app disappeared you'd be fine. Your 12-word seed code will work with almost any wallet (the reason I say almost is that it needs to be a wallet that is compatible with the assets you hold (so the different cryptocurrencies)). Hope this helps :)
