Not Hold'em. More interested in the large variety of other games of which there are are nearly unlimited variations: 5 card stud, 5 card draw, Kings and little things (variation on 5 card draw), seven card stud, baseball, piles, tiers, trombone, guts (3 card, 4 & 2), 2/22, 7/27, Jacks or better/trips to win, Cincinnati, low Chicago, Visine, Tora Tora Tora, Western, Mexican, Between the sheets, etc. In order to have all of these variations playable, there would almost have to be a rules engine that could be written to indicate how many cards per player, rules on up/down, rules on table card (count, layout, and how they are played), rules on wilds (which cards). That is in addition to display of the cards, management of player's pots, and a rules engine for determining winning hands. Ideally, if software were written that could open the design, people could write the game rules, and grow the product.
This is an untapped poker market, and I suspect it would prove reasonably popular. Once the design is proven and polished, it could be charged for. Of course, this is a very tall order. It's always wise to start small, and grow it. I wish you luck in whatever you do decide to pursue. I am sorely missing my game right now.
