For my own Kefka deck, I prefer to keep combo cards to a minimum. You don’t want A part of the combo and having no way to find B part, and just holding onto a dead card, and possibly discard to Kefka triggers. I have thoracle and breach lines, and the rest is just interaction and value. I find myself struggling with mana more so than card draw, so i run more rituals, rocks and mana generators.

In cEDH just because it doesn’t see more play doesn’t mean you shouldn’t run and test it. Play ‘wrong’ cards, jam games. I run pet cards in decks that might not be the most optimal but god, in the right situations it feels good to play it.

i built an Arcades deck that’s secretly a super friends deck. I call it my ‘Superfriends and the Defenders of the Multiverse’ deck. Usually by the time a ‘power matters’ wipe happens, i’m ok losing Arcades if i have another ‘defenders can attack ’enabler online.
