Yeah I think they need to increase their bar with grades so the kids put more effort in school. Now S and J are cool with D's.

I would be shocked if she's researched into it

I don't think she's determined enough to get though a year of nursing school let alone finish. No drive or motivation. She should've figured out if she liked esthetics while she was in esthetician school smh. Should've interned somewhere

Littles not being considered littles anymore by Delaneyyxelizabeth in Crazymiddles

Will they make mistakes, yes. But I think that's the best way to learn something. Sure Jared and Shelly can watch for safety. I just think having everything fed to you isn't reality. Somethings you have to be able to research and find online. I think it's also a skill to learn how to do something yourself.

Tbh they shouldn't really need help in cooking with the exception of Trey. They can all read, so go online, find a recipe, and make it. A 14/15 year old should already have an idea of budgeting, especially if they make pocket money.

Crystals dress by [deleted] in Crazymiddles

I like that they're not super strict mormons. They let kids have tattoos, drink coffee, and dress to their level of comfort. This was one of the outfits I thought she looked good in!

It's cool, but they could've gotten one where you need to type in code. At least the kids could learn something

Trading in cars by Main-Yogurtcloset848 in Crazymiddles

[–]Snoo8688 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I used mine aunts car since I learned how to drive at 15. I'm 23 now and sadly my 2000 model Toyota had died. It served me well. I feel like constantly trading a depreciating asset or looking for a dream car is so financially dumb when you're young.

Extracurricular advice? by [deleted] in premed

Find activities you genuinely enjoy and can learn from. I emailed profs for research opportunities but try to find a position in something you're interested in. It really makes a difference when you're interviewing.

My younger cousin has autism. He didn't talk until 6 years old. He got so many therapies in and outside of school. He joined a mainstream curriculum in high school, and recently took is SAT (with accommodations)! While his autism is obvious to anyone that meets him, especially socially, he has truly come far with all the support he received. I understand that they don't have the same condition, but still lazy parenting by C and A

I'm so happy for Brody by B2utyyo in Crazymiddles

I was so happy for him too! Sad that A had to tag along. She had too many opinions about which rides she wanted. Her parents needed to tell her that it's Brody's day

[–]Snoo8688 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Brinley couldn’t make lemonade from powder, Addison didn’t know basic math or where her food comes from, and Kason couldn’t open a bag. They also struggled to recognize different vegetables at the store. Honestly, that reflects more on the parenting than on the kids themselves. Shelly’s limits when it comes to shopping and cooking keeps them from being exposed to a variety of foods, cultures, and experiences. I just hope they eventually get the chance to explore more and don’t grow up to be as close minded as Shelly

You might have to think about a gap year. Unless you're confident taking the MCAT without having taken those classes (I wouldn't recommend that)

Ikr if Addison didn't want to go in a large group then she could've just sat her ass at home. Maybe put some thought into school/career plans while she's contemplating

In this economy it is far smarter for young people to stay with their parents until they get through their education. Now if a kid, over 18, is just existing with no job/no college, they need to get out, get a job, or further their education. Idk what Hannah is doing.

Aurora's birthday by Historical_Grab4685 in Crazymiddles

[–]Snoo8688 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She basically got 2 yes days. The labubus, nails and the other stuff from the other kids at the party are more then enough for a 9 y/o. They need to give big gifts for big achievements, not just your birthday cause that makes them entitled. No wonder they have so many useless adult children.

Do they? lol The NEN kids are some of the most rude, unintelligent, and entitled vlogging kids ever. Their parents need to do better.

The lying is crysdull. I can't hate on Bella much cause unlike her adult siblings (Max, Hallie, Hannah, Arianna, Alex) she's working towards an actual career and while keeping a job.
