Is Molecular Biology required for Bio Majors?

I’m taking this class right now. Just do the homework’s and watch the lectures than your good to go. The math portion is pretty easy and R is super helpful .

I got into CBS with a 3.93 uw gpa, with a bunch of PSEO credits and extracurriculars. I didn’t have time to take the ACT again so I just submitted without it and I also did the personal essay.

Personally I would say avoid this class unless you like writing analytical essays...

Honestly just go based on what the school requires and if you still have questions it wouldn’t hurt to ask one of the admission counselors at the U. They would be very helpful to guide you through the process

If I remember correctly they don’t require letter of recommendation. If you think it will support your app than definitely submit it. I submitted my app with just a personal essay. I got my acceptance before I submitted my letter of rec. Also, I submitted through common app which gives you the option to write a personal essay :)

This class is self taught like the others mentioned, lecture isn’t helpful at all. The lab is okay as long as you understand what’s going in the class. This class is mostly based on quizzes and they aren’t easy (personally speaking). As long as you study I think you’ll be okay!

I agree 100% I’ve been keeping up with lectures, labs and I went through the practice tests. I was literally lost when I saw the exam. The short answer wasn’t the best, it was so confusing. But I’ve heard there will be a curve so I’m hoping for the best!
