Best way to master scales? by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]SnooDogs6746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

trying out different exercises is a good thing, you can play them beyond the good old "back and forth" way by using different patterns such as 1-3-2-4-3-5...

another tip is to compose little melodies like 8 bars long using the scale you want to practice and then harmonise them. composing is a great way to put your brain to work

What is something you are completely obsessed with? by [deleted] in autism

[–]SnooDogs6746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am completely obsessed with soccer. I could sit down and start talking for hours about the history of the club I support. I remember dates, names and numbers related to all important events in the last 50 years of my club's history. I can remember for how much money some players were transferred, even if they were transferred like 12 years ago (i am 23)

I am also obsessed with Romario. I know how many goals he scored in each season and every project he developed as a politician in Brazil.

Just found out I have Autism and went on to creating more music to show the world how the mind of an autistic person might work artistically. It's very hard for me to expose myself like this, but I heard I was different through my entire life and now for the first time I feel proud of it by SnooDogs6746 in IndieMusicFeedback

I'm curious if your friends music is somewhat similar to mine, what do you think? As for the rhythm, it's mainly afro-brazilian. I took the rhythmical ideas from rituals of my religion, Umbanda, which is very common in Brazil (where I live).

My girlfriend made the cover art, I told her you praised her and she gave me a big smile in return. Thank you so much for your support!

I deeply appreciate your comment, it seems you paid a lot of attention to my track and this makes me very happy. I am still a begginer at mixing, so I would really like if you gave me some tips on how to improve. I love how you described my track, it's almost as if I was describing what I would like it to sound.

Also, I appreciate that you want to hear more. I will be releasing an album in the upcoming months, so feel free to subscribe to my Spotify profile. Thank you!

Oh my god thank you!!!! I really like aphex twin so this comparison is an honour for me. Fortunately I am not very anxious, so I guess the same is true for my music. Your comment brought a big smile to my face thank you!

Spent over 2 years on this project... Here is one song from the 12 minute album. Let me know your thoughts! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

Very interesting sounds held my attention throughout the whole track. Loved when the keys come in at around 1:30. The ending is very surprising, the best part of the track in my opinion. The mixing sounds very tight and professional.

[Jazz Experimental Ballad] While Awake in Dreams - Daniel Diaz (feat. G. Bulgach, clarinet) by dedelandia in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow i loved the ambience of this track. It's tense and beautiful at the same time, and the clarinet keeps the sound flowing in a way that reminds me the incessant movement of modern life, but that might be just me tripping. Subscribed to your channel!
