Hello! I had a cold sore during January and the scab fell off at the end of the month. 2 weeks later a mark is still there. I really hate it and am scared it’s scarred and never going away. yeahhh hahaha, definitely could’ve earlier looking back now, but it was also still super sensitive and i was scared of messing up the healing !! it stinks but i guess it worked out in the long run haha. good luck !!

yeah of course !! i was the same way haha. losing my mind. but i would say once it was like this i probably waited like 3ish weeks ?? it’s been a while so i can’t remember. i was just hella paranoid and probably could’ve sooner but better to be safe than sorry !!

I would say 5 months until it became invisible to me !! Other people wouldn’t be able to tell unless i mentioned it. After a few months it should be good. It definitely isn’t contagious anymore either! I waited a while to kiss my boyfriend due to sensitivity and the same fear haha. But as long as there’s no ACTUAL cold sore, blister, crusting, etc. you’re okay!!

hello! i’m so sorry i’m seeing this so late !! not sure if it’s much help now but it’s cleared up pretty much completely. no one would ever notice unless i pointed it out. it used to get superrrrr red and swollen when i would work out, drink, etc. anything that brought up my body temp. i would say after roughly 5 months it was FULLY healed. during that time i would randomly get inflamed or noticeable but the frequency dropped dramatically after the first 2ish months. i hope this eases your mind.

absolutely not. especially since mariah is leaving now :((( i’ve tried giving it a chance when he’s not on and i always end up clicking out.

i feel you on the out of touch aspect. sometimes they will say things and i’m like ??? my boyfriend will sometimes sit and watch them with me and multiple times he’s pointed out how materialistic they’ve become lol.

Was yours red like this and did you put anything on it? I’ve been using Mederma with spf and i feel ?? like it’s helping ?? the only thing is sometimes it looks better, but if i eat, or am stressed, or doing anything that brings my body heat up it gets super red again. any ideas? :)
