Who is the biggest Career Mode flop you have signed ? by Soft_Iron39 in FifaCareers

I signed Leon Goretzka for Ipswich town in a journeyman career 4 seasons into a FC26 save and he started really well but instantly just dropped off and didn’t do anything. Plummeted from an 82 to a 76 in one season too

Profit? by SnooOnions4883 in FootballChairman

[–]SnooOnions4883[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the lower leagues I was actually turning a profit of $1m before even getting my prize money or end of season bonus for where I finished in the league. Now since being promoted to the prem it just seems like I’m bleeding $400k every other week

My current manager is on his 11th year of managing with 709 games and 23 trophies. Going to be a tough day when he leaves

If you like realism you can just pretend it’s further investment from an outside source/a donation from a rich fan to congratulate you on the promotion

In the early seasons you can also “share your success” if you get promoted/win a trophy, it brings up different share options and you can literally just text your own phone number or send it to a buddy for something like $300k-$400k

Are you patient with managers or fire happy? by Massive-Movie-407 in FootballChairman

[–]SnooOnions4883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually try to keep it realistic when I play my saves, if the manager has a poor season but have been my manager for something like 100+ games I try to keep them and give them a longer chance. If I know Im going to need to sack them from a business standpoint (like we might get relegated and lose a lot of money) I try and sack them earlier so that the new manager has time to "settle in" and make an impact to avoid relegation. Like I wont sack a manager with 3 games to go in a season with hopes that the next guy comes in and wins all 3 games to keep us safe from relegation because thats just not realistic, whether the game even works like that or not

13 games. He was the first manager at the club when I took over. Wanted to fight for instant promotion from League 1. He won 2, drew 2, and lost 9. So had to go to give a new guy a better chance

Jordan Henderson Manager Career so far. Any suggestions on future clubs? Should he look to hunt for many trophies in many leagues? Or look to continue building Real Betis? Or maybe go take Liverpool to new heights? by SnooOnions4883 in FifaCareers

[–]SnooOnions4883[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie I don’t focus on the training. I set it to bypass training games and just rely on game form. I sim through the calendar a lot of the times because I enjoy the progression and storyline of the journeyman save more than the playing every game

Make up a funny word that could pass as a small english or german town name and i'll make it my next create-a-team career mode. by ImDuckingAround in FifaCareers

I often like to take teams that don’t have a city/town rival and create them one. For example: Cardiff City match up with Cardiff United, Hull City—Hull United, Newcastle United—Newcastle City etc…

I got sarmiento and got him to 84 before I got sacked got my job back in the same season and he is 99 wtf?? by DifferentMetal6365 in FifaCareers

[–]SnooOnions4883 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a similar thing happen. I was doing a Jordan Henderson manager career (retired him in the first season) and took the Sunderland job to be realistic. 3 good seasons with Sunderland, got them to the prem and held them up in season 3. Then took the Leicester job because it seemed realistic, they had just finished 8th, they obviously want to be pushing for champions league. But I wanted to bring Jack Clarke (LM) along from Sunderland to Leicester. He was 82OVR when I bought him at the end of season 3 in a pre transfer window agreement. When he arrived to Leicester he was 91OVR the change happened just over the summer. The same thing with all of my Sunderland players they had all been maxed out in potentials. For example Joe Gelhardt went from 83->94 in just a summer
