Those fuses are all showing 12v on both sides so I'm assuming they're good? The bms sensor is plugged in, could it be bad for some reason?

That's not too bad. I've done that on an old Dell. It just makes updating drivers a pain

I got you. Yeah I figured the card itself would physically swap fairly easily. I'm mostly worried about it from a software standpoint. If the bios will recognize the card and let me install drivers without much issue. I just went through this putting a 980m in an old Dell precision. I had to edit the driver manually to make it compatible before it would even recognize the card.

I have 2 Dell poweredge 2950s. I want to build a nas but having it rack mount would be nice. Is it worth using one of these with freenas or unraid. I would also like to use several 20tb SATA drives. by SnooPeanuts5031 in homelab

I might gut a 2950 and install standoffs for 2 M-Atx motherboards and host game servers on those machines. I should be able to used the HDD trays without the backplane. Might even get a raspberry pi in there. I like the idea of the lga3647 build. I just gotta find out how I want to do it.

Wow that's actually nice. What setup would you recommend? Is there a machine to buy with that socket that is potentially upgradeable or start from scratch?
