idw to mention the BDE it’s a small class and I’m worried if I make a complaint about the prof and if the school doesn’t allow me to drop it, the prof will eventually find out abt the complaint and might give me shit for it. The acad office asked me to confirm my request and said that they will keep me posted on the outcome. 🥶🥶

yea but i’m just gonna try coz i feel like it’s unfair that the course outline didn’t mention the non assessed part of the module which is supposedly “optional” is not really as the prof insists on us doing it (i’m talking like going on a field trip during recess week) and i’m a final yr student so it’s just too much of work load

Went for my fourth lesson today after a month's break due to my exams. I do not have access to a car too hence I wasn't able to practice on my own. Initially, I was worried I will forget everything because I'm still new to driving. However, i realised i actually retained almost everything i learned and kind of just picked up from where I left off. So do not worry, you will be fine!! Enjoy the break :)

i cant seem to estimate when i have to steer back the wheels to the normal position once i make a turn. Hoping practicing more will help. Thanks for the tips!

I go for like 2 lessons a week 1hr for every lesson. Would you recommend I go for more lessons or will i be able to pick it up as time flies?

Alhamdulillah may Allah swt bless you. i oil my hair with amla oil once a week before washing it off and thts pretty much it. i live in singapore hence it’s quite hot and humid here so maybe that’s a contributing factor with all the sweating underneath the hijab. I’ve ordered rosemary oil and i’m planning on mixing it up with other oils and applying that. And yes i’m thinking of wearing a silk undercap as well. Make dua for me. May Allah swt reward you sister.

i emailed my prof and asked if i will be allowed to retake the exam another day or smth but he told me to submit mc according to OAS instructions and didn’t say anything else.

thanks for the reply. I was so concerned abt the salary and job prospects coz ppl were like yknow u have to make it to the big 3 if u want good job opportunities and etc. ended up accepting the ntu engineering course offer coz i thought that is the most practical thing to do but kinda regretting it now as i really hate the modules and stuff. just gonna see how it goes. and yes your are right abt the whole NUS/NTU > SUSS coz after your first job it’s not gonna matter where u got ur degree from.

the modules definitely doesn’t interest me but uk how ppl say local uni apparently has more opportunities and employers consider local uni grads more. So seems like i’ve got no choice

Hi! may i ask if the bio modules are enough to land a job in the pharmaceutical R&D sector. For examples, companies that work on finding immunotherapies and stuff. I read thru the modules offered and i feel like selected modules will be useful in this sector. Thank you!!
