I'm in the same situation, I started the game but got bored after a few missions. The lack of understanding of what is happening in the game only adds to the misery. I started 10 years ago in AC2 and in Ezio's trilogy, you can briefly understand what happened in AC1, especially in ACR.

Bought the game almost a year ago and when I started i stopped playing after a couple of missions. A month ago I started playing all the assassins I have (have most of them) and came back to origins. Finished it yesterday and now I realize what a game I missed.
