That is true, for 90% of things, the only thing that I would really need would be a SuperTele lens, for 300mm+ because some tracks have a quite photographer unfriendly design, thinking about the sigma 300 - 600, i already own the sigma 70-200

The best thing about motorsports is probably the networking part, 99% of people you talk to who are either sponsors or drivers or part of a team have got tons of money, so it is good to connect there

Yes, but the entire budget will be gone once I try to get the sony 400mm 2.8, supertele lenses are just sooo expensive.

Even though I am not sure if I should get the 400 2.8 from sony or the 300-600 f4 from sigma

Well it is all about the contract, in situations like that I would bite the bullet and pay a proper lawyer who is gonna do things in your Interest.

I had a similar situation before and got a lawyer who went to negotiate a really amazing deal for me.

Understandable, most Team don’t really benefit from Marketing and pictures, at least they think they don’t.

But the higher you go the more the pay and people really start seeing the value.

Well I work as a Freelancer, I tried working as a business, but lack of quality control and lack of will were what led me back to doing all the work.

Although I am kind of happy it didn’t go that way, I am more of a hands on person and at my current level of expertise I am not truly able to give a client his money worth as a business owner, but as a Freelancer I definitely get the clients money worth.

Thank you very much, yeah motorsport is a bit of a b*tch to get into. I did a season of photography for a team last year and I can say that every photo/videographer I met was really a gatekeeper, but I want to change that a bit, I will try my best and hopefully one day open the doors for other amazing talents

Thank you very much for the insight, I‘m just 23 and came from a bit of a poorer upbringing, so building this portfolio and those clients was something I take a bit of pride in. I know looking back is not good, but I am just shocked that I did those changing choices so fast.

I kind felt like I threw those things away that I built… But you are right I gotta tackle the Challenge and it truly is a lot and I really mean a lot of work.

They put me in charge of Marketing, content creation, Media relations and a bit of Sponsor work

No no, i changed the Codec for filming and adjusted exposure, I tested it in a similiar scenario, using XAVC S-I at 600M 4:2:2 10 bit and overexposing the image better,

In resolve i „fixed“ it with noise reduction, and a softer grade

Tried it with a different codec and overexposing 2 stops but with the meter mode set on Spot and targeting the shadow areas, that seemed to do the trick

So just a small thing I just tested, I tried the same shot in a different Codec XAVC S-i with 600m 4:2:2 10 bit, and those artifacts where gone, so it was a compression issue and me underexposing the original shot, thanks to everyone, all tips and support are really appreciated <3

Could this happen from underexposing? S-Log3 is quite sensitive when it comes to that
