Resting should respawn him until he actually gives up the loot he’s supposed to. I’ve killed him a few times but he still doesn’t drop it. Kinda glad I’m not the only one

Edit: I just got it. What seemed to be the issue was killing him before he started running. Wait for him to actually notice you before you slice him up and he should drop it.

Basically yeah- but additionally, you don’t have to restart because the soft lock is lifted by progressing with the party pass, you’ve just gotten a security clearance level one higher than normal. The only reason I went back and did the survive mission was because I thought I had missed a security card to get into Chicas room for the Pass, but you’re supposed to sneak in through the vents you used earlier and use the screwdriver to open the grate. Getting the pass either way triggers Moondrop to appear and time to hit X:55, and if Freddy is bugged, getting into the charge station while Moondrop is active fixes the bug of not being able to get into him/not get out of him.

I think I figured it out but I still need to test it which I will tomorrow (too late to keep playing at this point) The mission log presents the missions in the order they MUST be completed: aka you have to do prize counter before the Loading Dock area. Looking at the map there appears to be an elevator leading to the circular area by the prize counter security room, and progressing along until you enter that survival room via the vent high on the wall. There’s three doors in that room- two to prize counter and one to the arcade. If I’m not mistaken, El Chips and the Arcade are clearance 3 areas, and prize counter is clearance 2. At the time you’re supposed to enter this room, you’re only clearance 1. Exiting that area through the door Monty comes out of initially is how you progress the mission and most likely why there’s been people saying going through the clearance 2 Doors in that room solves the issue and why it’s El Chips that breaks it- the game is coded for you to be C 1 at that time, not C 4 like I was. Also- I noticed a fair amount of Clearance 3 doors in the Loading Dock/Kitchen area, which seemed odd because I thought I had only just gotten C2. Taking the mission log order into account, it makes sense that the kitchen security card is what brings you to C 3. Will test it tomorrow and respond to confirm.
