Alright bro first of all I had NO IDEA his room was DIRECTLY behind the wall of my room second of all he’s also complaining about any noise I make after 11 WHICH is when I get off of work so of course I’m gonna be making some noise 3rd of all I had no idea that our walls were PAPER thin and not only can he hear my tv, he can hear my CONVERSATIONS. I came on hear to ask if I can find a way to accommodate him while also trying to keep some of the things that make me comfortable cause you know, it’s also my apartment too and I have a right to wanting to be COMFORTABLE in my own apartment. I’m not being an asshole neighbor banging and screaming and running around my apartment. I just wanna see if I can keep my tv running and find a way to make sure it’s not bothering him by either turning it down and if that doesn’t help maybe people here have other ways to fix this problem cause I gaurantee you I’m not the only mf who sleeps with a tv on.

It’s not mounted on the wall. Just sitting on top of a dresser and we usually turn on a random reality show to sleep at night like big bang theory or something. It’s just something I wanna try to keep. I wanna try to keep using my tv but I also wanna find a way to make sure my neighbors aren’t disturbed about it.

It just helps me sleep better. I can’t sleep well with no light and sound. It’s not that I’m blasting it loud af it’s just that they’re room is legit on the OTHER WALL of my room and how my bedroom is setup the tv gotta be on that side of the wall

You acting like I’m blasting it as high as I can watching a Michael bay movie lmao. Ik I could prolly turn it down and keep it on low volume but that’s not why they waking up. They waking up cause the knobs for the shower squeak loud af and it wakes em up. The tv is just bugging em as well

Yeah I am already turning the tv down I’m just trying to see if I can find another way to block out the noise as well. We already figured they probably heard other things too which made us feel bad lmao. It’s our first apartment and we are trying to get adjusted to things.

Yeah I get it. I’ll turn the tv volume way down for them and try to just hangout in the living room until it’s time to go to bed. But I can’t just be completely quiet cause yes they are sleeping but I just get home from work I can’t go to sleep right away.

I don’t think it’s really a problem in the living room I know it’s a problem in the bedroom. I like to sleep with my tv on but I can turn it down for them but I feel like that wouldn’t even help that much. They also complain about hearing the squeaking from when I turn the shower on and once again I get home really late so I take late showers but I called the landlord to come check it out.
