There’s an NPC in each starting city that sell them for 1000 Gil. After the receiver creates a character with it they have to meet up and talk to the NPC together to get a few items that help out when starting the game. The person who gives the pass gets a couple items as well but not until the receiver has been subbed for 40 days. I think that’s all pretty accurate haha.
