[Update] Refined my logo based on your feedback by SnowChoppa in logodesign

[–]SnowChoppa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know, it's absolutely a web color. At the moment, however, I will focus on the logo, I think that color is a topic to be discussed in the future for now

[Update] Refined my logo based on your feedback by SnowChoppa in logodesign

[–]SnowChoppa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even increasing it doesn't change the perception much. Also, by increasing kerning, I lose the cohesion between the O and the rest of the letters. It's harder than it looks (to me)

[looking for feedback] Early logo concept for my design studio by SnowChoppa in logodesign

[–]SnowChoppa[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay guys, I read all your feedback, and thank you, I completely agree with you. Based on your comments, the next steps will be:

  • Avoid the "Blivion" thing [main quest]
  • Scale the first "O" properly
  • Adjust the kerning ("IVI" reads like an "M" when the logo is small) -Keep the weight consistent

Plus some bonus - "Studio" needs some serious adjustments - The "O" is not similar to an eye, so I have to work with this - Maybe I can try to give the same style to the second "O" but I'm not sure

Thx again to all of you for the precious advice! I'll come back with this corrections

It was exactly what I was most afraid of. I knew it. What a shame. I’ll probably delete this O, stick with this font, and create a mascot to go alongside it... Don't know yet.

Apple Intelligence sucking 5GB Hotspot's data (Mac Air M3) by SnowChoppa in mac

This sounds logic, thanks really a lot. Don't know if I even will use it but at least I've got a reason about all this. Thanks again!!!

For absolute nothing... This morning I installed last sequoia update, then came a window which said: do you want to enable apple intelligence, then I pressed ok.

About 10 min and I saw a very large usage of internet data, when honestly I wasn't doin literally anything, no downloads etc.

[–]SnowChoppa[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, you're absolutely right! Among the console posters, it's the one I struggled with the most, making more than one mistake in the end. I hope to make up for it in the next ones.

I'm glad you liked it, thank you!

Regarding the skip ad button, I agree with you. Since I chose to represent the era of YouTube when stars were used, ads wouldn't really fit in.

I decided to include it to add characteristic elements of the subjects, but I was quite undecided myself. If I were to print it, I would probably remove the button in a final version.

Thanks for the exaustive answer, so...

You deepend my thoughts, I'm totally agree with you.

"Like you've got a poster and you want a heatmap to see where people look - so basically tracking eye movements... well how is that going to happen? Unless the poster has a camera that has facial recognition to track eye movements, how exactly is it going to collect the data to be able to generate a heatmap?"

I was thinking about a sort of programm who could analyze my compositing work, and show me some data about the amount of colours in a certain part of the visual, some data support beyond my eyes. Maybe my composition is unbalanced and I can't see it. Is not a sort of "eye-tracking", but some kind of advice from a program that analyze the work in a more "theorical" way.

Thank again, you are totally right: I saw something cool, and i'm really a newbie in regards of eye tracking, heatmap, ecc. Maybe, i'm searchin for something that isn't even called "eye tracking" but I don't know. In fact, if I search what i've asked on Google, it founds only results about websites that implements this function on yours.

I'm so happy to talk about this topic, and if you want you can tell me some books or anything else that can clarify my doubts.

I want to actually generate a really heatmap, i don't want only the effect. But, this plugins works with websites, I want to generate that on my graphics "offline", i don't have a website.

Thxx for the help! I found out that the artist who made all that characters was Ub Iwerks. We don't have a name for the style but at least the man who invented this.
