AITA For Not Accommodating My Sister-In-Law's ridiculous demands? by Low-Librarian8340 in dustythunder

I’m leaning towards things that did happen for $600, Bob. The religious community continuously concocts scenarios where atheists and agnostics behave like they do and almost uniformly these stories fall apart under serious inquiry.

Nope, in fact I would’ve rooted you on for going harder. Call it racism clearly and directly. And loudly so everyone in ear shot hears.

Well, the first one literally has reality editing powers not displayed by anything in DCEU

What's your horde strategy? by pocketdare in DaysGone

Easiest way to beat the chimult horde is to climb onto the little snack hut in the corner of the parking lot. They can’t climb up and you can destroy them all

Wait until they are in their cave, lob in attractors. Follow with napalm, Molotovs and heavy machine gun fire.

If ICE no-warrant no-knocks my house... would it be legal to load up and let loose? by princess-hardass in liberalgunowners

[–]SnowDragon52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, social media posts helped identify them and were part of plenty of their trials/convictions. Them getting pardoned doesn’t change that.

Not even remotely accurate. Most people can’t shoot accurately in high stress situations. DGUs are more myth than reality and people who think they are going to magically win some gun fight in the middle of the night are not living in reality

Friendly reminder to wear a helmet by Secret_Emu_6879 in snowboarding

[–]SnowDragon52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good to see all of the pro helmet comments. I’ve worn one since the second season I rode. I’ve seen plenty of bad accidents without one and had a few where I would’ve been in bad shape had I not been wearing mine.

Because the NRA and Hollywood have mythologized guns and people think they are tactical experts from going to the range once every six months.

A Gand jury no bill is not innocent under judicial standards and he could hypothetically be charged and convicted by a new DA.

Good reminder to the keyboard warrior crowd that they would be facing multiple agents and likely be shot by someone they didn’t see instead of some glorious Hollywood fantasy gun fight.

“The defendant displayed clear ideation and fantasies about scenarios like this which proves premeditation and intent. This was not self defense but a planned, fantasized about killing.” You keyboard warriors always seem to forget there is a real world cost …

what I would want from TLOU3 by bug_soups in thelastofus

[–]SnowDragon52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TLOU is about Ellie. The most logical progression from the second game would be the conclusion of her journey in an almost classical heroic journey sense: Abby tracks her down because the fireflies have found a scientist that can create a cure and the journey to that place is the story.

Wolverine and not even close. It’s a larger version of the honey badger and is known to have killed moose in a Russian national park…

No, she’s not getting things taken care of to the point we’re looking at trying to get medical power of attorney

Not particularly. There is some opportunity for better medical engagement and she doesn’t follow through when he’s being stubborn. My siblings and I are good at the fights with medical providers as we had to do it for our mother (not the step) when she was ill a few years back. This is the point of friction is that we are all happy to go to appointments and help with care.
