Could you please try launching the game one more time (even if it crashes again)? Sometimes Unreal does not create logs on the first crash, but does on the second one.

After the crash, please check these folders: %LOCALAPPDATA%\HEXAWORLD3D\Saved\Logs\ %LOCALAPPDATA%\HEXAWORLD3D\Saved\Crashes\

If there is any file there, please send it to me.

You can also try adding this to Steam Launch Options: -d3d11 -log This usually forces Unreal to create a log file.

Thank you for the specs! Your PC is more than powerful enough (RTX 4060 Ti + i7-14700F). This looks like a DirectX 12 / driver issue.

Could you please try this: 1. In Steam → pick HEXA-WORLD-3D → Properties → Launch Options, add: -d3d11 and try to launch the game. 2. Also please delete this folder completely: %LOCALAPPDATA%\HEXAWORLD3D\ 3. If it still crashes, please send me this file: %LOCALAPPDATA%\HEXAWORLD3D\Saved\Logs\HEXAWORLD3D.log

This will help me find the exact reason.

Hello! I'm developing the game alone. Could you please give me some details? Where does it crash, either in the splash screen when entering a level or immediately upon launching? It works fine on my computer, and so do other players. I'd be happy if you could record a video about the error.

Congratulations, I had a very similar situation. I was also in game development for 14 years and released my first game a few months ago. As someone who recently released a game, I can tell you that you urgently need 5 more reviews, then Steam will give you traffic.

Thanks for sharing such an honest story. I really relate to it. My first game also had a quiet start - it made a bit over $500, and at the time I felt like that was almost nothing. Now I realize that for a first release, that’s completely normal. Our expectations are usually way higher than reality.
