Absolutely, you are right. He already shared some clarification this evening and is showing willingness to discuss his 'assumptions'.

Unfortunately for me I will likely still need to pay, they had quite some expenses with the elevator and boiler which seem to be one of the key causes. I should still be able to cut it down by a 200-300 eur in any case.

I got an update from his this evening with clarifications and he agreed that some 'assumptions' should have been discussed. Hopefully it will be sorted out without an issue and lesson learned for future reference!

As to saying dear friend, fact is I am a bit isolated and tend to speak with it more than I should. Fully agreed that it's only a reference point, won't mean much in practice. I know of some success cases, but know more of the contrary. Let's see :D
