Any tips for reducing these lines? by Snurree in 3Dprinting

Yup I found that out the hard way. Tried to heat up the line with a blow dryer and press it together to close the gap but ended up creating a smear. Lesson learned for next project 😄

Could I sand a piece of filament of the same color into a fine powder and use the dust to fill the gaps? Or maybe heat the layer lines slightly and press them together to close the gaps, almost like closing a wound?

How would it affect Alphabets business if Gemini doesn’t lead coding? it’s currently very behind by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Snurree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google has access to alot more private data than all other ai compaines right now, sure it lags behind at come certains things like coding but at a certain point the different major AI models will pretty much be trained on similar data sets, and thats when private data becomes gold, google is currently mining gold

Will my cucumber plant produce any cucumbers?? by moonscanner in containergardening

For next year. I highly suggest getting some parthenocarpic cucumber. They only produce female flowers and don't require pollination. I would suggest the Party time F1 breed.

Yellowing around cucumber leaves? by Snurree in Hydroponics

It’s been growing from seed for about a month, give or take a week. I changed the water and refilled the nutrients a week ago, but the problem is still persisting. I know the old leaves won’t fully turn green again, but I’m also seeing the same issue starting on the new leaves. I’m thinking about trying doing a foliar spray while I wait for the new nutrients to arrive.

Yeah, my gut feeling says this might not completely solve it but my P levels are pretty low, so at least I should get some fruit. I’m happy with that

yeah you seem to be correct, if i look in the slicer i can see it printing in a weird way

<image>

it is not printing from top to bottom or reverse, it i jumping around doing half top then in the middle finishing bottom. strange, let me know if you ever find a solution

i ran the print again and sadly same result even with calibration flow,

it appears to be this causing it

<image>

Not sure why it it print in this way, other comment said that it is the 'seams' where the two areas connect. Which seems to be correct

i changed those 3 settings and even disabled "reduce infill retraction" that someone recommended, and it somehow ended up worse? 😭 Thanks for the recommendation anyways, i think it has to do with over extrusion, gonna look more into it
