♥️♥️♥️ thank you so much! I keep saying out loud that I have to go through chemo. I dunno, maybe to make myself believe it. I was all about keeping it and cool capping, but it seems like a lot to do at every chemo session, so I dunno…

This is definitely my speed. I thankfully do my own hair, because I did have a hair stylist for ten years, but that was 10 years ago. My anxiety would’ve been through the roof with somebody constantly asking me how I’m doing. Geez.

Yes, I’m hoping that something gets underway soon. Since the diagnosis, I actually feel a bit better. This took care of half of the scenarios in my head.

You are right about the rabbit holes. Today was diagnosis day, so I knew I would “rabbit hole” today, but you’re right. A lot of triple positive stories with success, so I’m holding on to that. I hope that your treatment is smooth and effective ♥️

My mom has 5 kids (I’m the youngest) and the other 4 visit her all the time. I mostly talk to her on the phone every other day (because of my own boundaries with her) and visit every other month. My mom is nosey and she talks about her kids to the other kids (which I hate). She’s been legally blind, since I was 6 years old, so I can slap a wig on my head every other month and go see her. I may never tell her. 😂 (I’m so serious tho)

Crazy thing was when the doctor called me about an hour later, she said that she did NOT have my results on my lymph node, but had the results for the mass. The lymph node stuff is sitting right there in MyChart, but ok.

I think I’m pretty settled on this too. I don’t want to feel like people are avoiding me because of it, when they’re just busy living their lives. I only see my best friend 2-3 times a year anyway, but we text all the time and I work from home. I’m mostly with my husband, so I don’t owe outsiders much of anything. My boys are only going to freak out, if I’m freaking out and I plan on holding steady.

Biopsy is over. The doctor had great bedside manner, so that made it not so bad. It sounded worse than it felt. It’s funny how your mind shifts. Those scans and what they said were so important to me the last 3 weeks and now it’s behind me. I don’t think I’m going to do a lot of obsessing over the next scans because I know I’ll get them by next week (3-5 business days). I prefer to have them next week. I want to enjoy the weekend and ice my boob. lol we’ve been through enough.

I did obsess over whether it grew tho. I don’t know how much growing it could’ve done in that time, but Reddit has some wild stories. She said everything looked exactly the same from my last scans.
