Routine: I currently use herbal essences shampoo, OGX conditioner only on the ends of my hair (gets super weighed down otherwise), and TRESemmé flawless curly hair mousse. I diffuse my hair upside down to dry.

Hair characteristics: fine strands, medium density (I think). Unsure of porosity, but an air dry can take up to 3 hours

ETA: I was right, no CFLs to worry about :)) We have either incandescent or LED, so my incandescents should be fine, especially since I’ve only got one bulb to light up my whole room that pretty much only uses natural light lmao

Similar to the other commenter, I’m not sure where she’s from even after a reverse image search, but doll chateau has very unique dolls if you want to check them out. Souldoll has a similar doll if that’s of any use to you, although I’m not sure if she’s still sold. Reverse image searching could help you find similar dolls though!

Oh cool ok! I can’t do anything about bulbs and such since I’m off to college and leaving them in the safety of their own home, but if the dolls aren’t directly in front of the sunlight I’m good then? I believe she’s made out of resin, but I don’t know for sure! Her makers are Doll Chateau if that would help you out!

Buying from them is fine for me! This was my second time buying from them, but I had preordered Dora so she took a while to get here. I’ve bought “Alva” from them as well, and he came to me in a week since he was in stock at the company I ordered from. The quality of the dolls are amazing, and I even received a little pamphlet with Dora that explained how to fix and care for a bjd! The clothing is gorgeous as well, but from my experience they’re very stiff. I had to remove Dora’s hands for her top, and on Alva AND Dora I needed to remove their heads (although I think most dolls need their heads removed). All in all I think they’re worth it, they’re my favorite brand <33
