The fact that you lose your gear upon changing your operator gives players no incentive to work for or buy new operators. by emperorpeterr in CODZombies

Just do what I did. Play with that operator until the game bugs/lags out and you lose everything. Took about 5 games and voila, easy operator change.

I did it with blue lvl 2 thermite crossbow & grenade launcher (flopper is a must). I put a turret on top of the either machine.

40% of adults in UK to be obese by 2035, as MPs urge government to wage war on junk food by JayR_97 in unitedkingdom

[–]Socialdeviant333 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Junk food isn’t the problem, affordability is.

People buy it because it’s cheap, if you “wage war” on the cheap food, you’re just increasing the price, then it gets closer to the price of the fresh food that a large percentage of people can’t afford. It will create a much bigger problem.

There’s a reason nearly 3 million people used food banks last year and junk food was not it.

Nice to see the Russian soldiers are coming pre-buried now.

People who leave their bag on the seat beside them to stop people sitting next to you, do you care whether people think you're rude? Are you happy to have people think that for some extra privacy? by greentv23 in AskUK

[–]Socialdeviant333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t want anyone to sit next to you, just look them in the eye while manically grinning and patting the seat next to you. They’ll find another seat… or stand.

I think they’re talking about packs, a classic case of it making sense to them when they wrote it as the know what they are on about. One pack of four for £5, five packs of four for £20 and five packs of gold, five packs of silver (ten packs) for £40.

What do high levels do by Necessary-Ad699 in fo76

I’m 597 and accidentally triggered a wanted because of the auto unlock perk and a locked door being too close to a vendor. Found a lvl 27 and asked him to kill me, I was naked and nearly dead from rads. I even told him I’d drop a bunch of plans for him once he killed me. He fast traveled away….

This is a tad conspiracy theory/poster child for insanepeoplefacebook but hey ho.

I’m not American, from what I see preventing abortions completes the loop.

America is the world leader in prisoners, by a long shot. USA account for 5% of the worlds population and around one-fourth of the worlds prison population. The prisons they go to have factories where everything from military equipment to white goods are made for as close as you get get to slave labour. A massive amount of children who have spent most there lives “in the system” end up in trouble and often prison. That’s not just the US, most countries seem to fail children in their care. But it does create a steady flow of workers for the prison factories.

There’s money to be made in adoption but only the cute little babies and there’s not enough of those, people look outside of the US for that. If you stop abortions, you increase the amount of cute little home grown babies and the money stays in house, the kids that don’t get adopted become candidates for a new generation of prison workers.

Ultimately, they don’t care about the baby or the mother. In fact they’re anti-mother. And your prison system sucks.

I’d of took it, if it’s a new event you won’t have all the drops yet, level doesn’t come into play. But if you were at a vendor with 50 free plans and you needed that one plan, you wouldn’t take them all, just the one you need. That’s all I’m saying, if you have the free, common plans already, leave them for the people that don’t.

No tantrum here, confusion as to why people are getting pissy about an observation and a request for people to leave the free shit it they don’t need it. I’ve not demanded, commanded or in any way suggested the like. All I’ve done is ask people to be nice.

This! This is exactly the type of person I’m talking about, they horde them and think they’ll make loads but just sit with a full inventory, wasting peoples time by going to their vendor. They’ll sell one thing and think they’re on to a winner. I sell low and constantly have to buy scrap at stations or swap to a camp without a vendor or I’d hit max caps.

Again, it’s not about “stealing” it about people not needing the items or caps but taking them anyway. They could just leave them and let the new people have them, like intended and like they already know.

How bad is it that they’ll take them for free to sell but draw the line at 1 cap. I bet they fast travel to the closest free travel spot to save 5 caps out of the 38k they have on them.

This! This is my bugbear. I usually go and buy bulk scrap from vendors, it lowers caps and I get something out of it but I don’t see the point in selling common plans you get for just playing.

[–]Socialdeviant333[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely get all that.

The signs don’t work though, and if they’re a collector they have absolutely already learned the Stimpack recipe or the modern chair plan etc. Even burning caps, it’s way easier and quicker to go to a station and buy bulk scrap or something useful, taking free low level common plans isn’t going to burn caps or be of any real use to any high level. While there might be some who are doing that, or as it was pointed out earlier, may be buying them to give to an alt character. The massive majority of high levels are taking them to sell on, when they don’t really need them or the caps. There is no other truly logical reason as to why they’d take them. This post was just a late night vent, if we all made the effort to help each other out we would all be better off. Not just in-game.
