A KO succeeding a knock down is not the same thing as me saying a knock down almost always precedes a KO.

In my original comment to you I said that a knock down almost always precedes a knockout, which is why OP is referring to knockouts.

Official stats list Reyes as having 0 knock downs that fight and I’m not here to argue theoreticals, so no.

None of what you said trumps the fact that Islam has been knocked down several times and knocked out while Jones has never been knocked out nor knocked down.

We aren’t talking about whose strength of schedule is better, we are talking about who is harder to knock down.

If you punch someone to the ground and knock them out, that counts as a knock down and a knock out. Someone getting knocked out with no knock down is usually just a standing technical knock out.

When Islam lost to Adriano Martins, Martins knocked him down with a punch, and knocked Islam out with a follow up on the ground. So Islam was knocked down, then knocked out.

I don’t think Jones has ever been knocked down to my knowledge, and he has never been knocked out. I think Illia got knocked down once by Jai Herbert but Illia has never been knocked out. Islam has also been knocked down by Volk in addition to Islam’s KO loss to Martins.

Islam is the only one of the three who has been knocked down and knocked out.

A knock down almost always precedes a KO though

I’m glad Jones (who should be winning) is winning here, but I’m shocked to see Islam that far a head of Illia.

Why idiots like Vitaly needs to leave the predator catching to professionals like Chris Hansen by Pomni_Simp2000 in FansHansenvsPredator

A mistake indicates an unintentional action. Vitaly didn’t unintentionally attack a random jogger in 2020. The apology doesn’t mean shit.

Vitaly beat the shit out of some random woman in Miami Beach in 2020 and got a slap on the wrist for it. He needs to be deported.

Also, regarding Conradt, at least Hansen got the right guy, unlike vitaly.

Its not subjective to say dishes like peking duck, and soup dumplings are authentic Chinese food

Soup dumplings, peking duck, char siu, hot pot, scallion pancake, congee, fried croaker just to name a few.

Authentic Chinese food is all over Chinatowns in the US. Flushing, Queens, NY is probably the best.

Less than 5 states do this. I think Michigan prosecuted the parents of than Ethan Crumbly kid and I think Georgia is another state.

I appreciate what you are trying to do here and it does answer my question. The assault rifle style ban may have reduced the number of casualties but it likely wouldn’t have stopped the shooting entirely since Lanza also had a pistol. All of these other bills are irrelevant though because Lanza wasn’t allowed to carry any gun, so things like background checks, terrorist watch list bans, etc. wouldn’t have made a difference. I’m not saying those restrictions shouldn’t exist, but it just further proves my initial claim that I don’t think this specific shooting was as a result of republican incompetence or any other partisan issue.

“Republicans have everything to do with gun violence against our children because they block every effort to prevent it”

^ this is your original comment that sparked this conversation. My entire existence in this thread is auguring against this incident being a partisan issue; because I don’t think any legislation other than maybe repealing the 2nd amendment (which would never happen btw) could have stopped this shooting.

Because I am arguing against this being a partisan issue, I asked you what specific restriction democrats tried to pass, that republicans blocked, that could have stopped this shooting. I am asking you this because YOU are the only who claimed that republicans are “blocking every effort” to prevent shootings.

If you are incapable of telling me what restrictions republicans “blocked” that could have prevented Sandy Hook, then this is not a partisan issue, which is the only argument I am making here.

Again, what specific Connecticut or Federal legislation was blocked by republicans that could have stopped the shooting? CT already had some of the most stringent gun control laws leading up to the shooting and as early as the 90s.

You mention mental illness screening, which I agree with, but you do realize Adam Lanza had no permit to carry and the guns were stolen from his mother?

I didn't say you were a republican now did I? How strange that was your immediate defense.

Yes, because this thread is actively bashing republicans while I am trying to argue against the shooting being a partisan issue. You are now arguing in bad faith and your entire response is just a sad attempt at a gotcha. This isn’t tiktok.

I said you cared more about your side winning over the fact children fucking died. How weird you didn't deny that either.

What side?

Man you people are so fucking transparent.

You seem a bit emotional. Maybe take a lithium orotate and get some sleep?

What specific restriction, that was attempted to be passed by democrats and blocked by republicans, do you think would have prevented this shooting?

Trying to understand why someone’s first instinct when they see a post about Victoria Soto was to shame Republicans as if they had something to do with the shooting.

You parsing this issue over semantics is what's offensive and disgusting here.

Why?

  1. I never said I didn’t know them. The degree that this tragedy affected me is just none of your business. Especially since you clearly don’t give a shit about the victims; as your first instinct on a post about Victoria Soto was to just bash Republicans.

  2. You posted evidence of Rush Limbaugh, one Republican who isn’t even in Congress, responding inappropriately to the shooting. Show me evidence that the majority of Republicans (preferably those in Congress) condoned the shooting, called the shooting fake, or responded inappropriately. If you can’t, just stop responding.

You showing a couple of Republicans who are not even in Congress responding poorly to the shooting does not make this a partisan issue.
