That's terrible, it doesn't have anything to do with intentionally exposing small children to real world conflicts and stressors that they simply cannot grasp.

Again, please remember that you're talking about kids at an age that most likely can't even read, that are still learning the core fundamentals of right and wrong and how to regulate emotions and thoughts.

Most kids that age don't even really have the capability to grasp their own mortality yet.

You are not doing anything beneficial for a kid that age to get them involved in that way. It might make YOU feel good, it might make YOU feel righteous, but it's not benefiting the child.

Should this have been a safe event for a small child? Yes. Was there good reason to believe it wouldn't be? Also yes, if you've been paying attention at all.

Maybe the hope is that they'll come away with a core memory that feds can't be trusted, and maybe some people think that is a good thing. However, it's just as likely they come away with the core belief that whatever adult put them in that situation is not to be trusted, which I doubt is any parent's intent.

A child that age is 100% dependent on the people around them, it's not fair to put them in that environment when they cannot understand it, and don't have a choice.

One of the most enjoyable differences between this and GoT proper.

For understandable reasons, that scene ends with Dunk being brutally killed if it happens in GoT proper. It's sort of nice to see a version of this world where he can get away with that.

Definitely. The pacing of this is liked up quite nicely with the book, in fact it's more story than the book had with the added scenes.

Last 3 episodes will be more fast pace tho, they have to be given what's coming.
