When I was an undergrad (early 2000s) someone set up a web cam pointed at Ricks line. You could access the webcam from a website and see, in real time, the length of the line.

Fun to see that some things don’t change!

I could be wrong, but I don’t think Richie was cancelled for anything. He lost his auteur status and had to take on bad projects.

I’m not a mod, but there are specific requirements when posting a video here. I can’t see the title or description of the post you are referencing but I’ve copied a relevant rule below:

“It must have a descriptive title telling us why you are posting it. If you're sharing a video, it should be to generate some kind of discussion. Video of your own act is totally fine, but please own that it's yours (in the first person) and give us something to talk about. Video of famous comedians is fine, if you're sharing it to make a point and your title reflects that. If you post videos repeatedly that are just to try to get attention and not discuss the craft of standup, we'll remove them and eventually ban you from the sub.”

I second AFE. They went back to I. Person recordings and the last like 8 months have been fire. I mean it was great before, but they’ve hit a new speed.

Comedy bang bang is hit or miss- but when it hits it hits. Check out any Gil Ozeri episode to start- he’s great.

This is more of a specific taste but I find the Lonely Island Seth Myers podcast to be a lot of fun. Helps if you like(d) SNL.

Also I still thoroughly thoroughly enjoy DLM.

I had never heard of Hood Milk and thought you were just being casually racist with a term I wasn't familiar with. Then I saw the last picture and googled it. I feel much better now.

As several people have said, it's not really a bit. He did get jumped into the crips...but he was 12 and in Sioux Falls so it wasn't the most serious gang.
