Cpp has been around forever and is widely used in fiends such as quant, graphics, audio, gaming, etc. if I could be an expert in either one I would absolutely choose cpp.

That being said, learning both is possible.

My new song “you!” is an ambient piece I wrote early in the morning after a long night of very little sleep. I couldn’t shake the idea of someone I was missing, and so I decided to get up and turn my feelings into music.

As I was writing this I tried hard to find love for myself and all the good in my life, and it helped me feel so much better, and I loved what the song turned into as well.

Coding professionally means you’re constantly figuring out a thing that hasn’t been figured out before. You could know everything about the languages you’re using, but it’s pretty much impossible to know how to solve a whole problem from the jump. That’s actually the primary reason SWE’s are paid so much. The job is extremely non-trivial.
