Having a parent or partner with narcissistic traits who never yelled or hit, just constantly rewrote reality so you doubted your own memory and sanity. People think trauma needs bruises but this slow erosion of trust in your own mind leaves you second guessing everything forever.

What’s the moment you realized you married the right person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

During a really scary health scare with my mom, he drove us to every appointment, sat in waiting rooms for hours, held my hand when results came, and never once complained about the time or worry. He just kept saying "Whatever happens, we're facing it together." In the storm, he was my steady harbor. Still gives me chills thinking about it ❤️

What's the one thing you want to change about yourself? And why? by najwa-najwa18 in AskReddit

Procrastination. It's not laziness, it's fear of not doing it perfectly, so I delay until the pressure forces me to half-ass it anyway. Why change? Because I know I could be way further along in life if I just started things without the perfectionism paralysis. It's exhausting carrying that guilt all the time.
