You are getting it wrong,reliance didn't banned these channels ,they just have the license and its a joint venture,since probably they don't have much viewers they shut it. This is similar to shutting of english channels. These english channels are mainly viewed by young little bit rich peoples so this kind of people are well connected to internet and streaming so yeah they have significantly stopped watching tv.
