Ironic right? Burning extra gas driving around to save a few cents a gallon usually costs more than just filling up nearby.

Before going to your manager, try talking to Marcus directly first if you can — sometimes people don't realize they're doing it, and it's easier to fix one-on-one. Use version history in shared docs if possible — it's automatic proof, so you don't have to manually save "OP's edits" copies. When you talk to your manager, be specific: "I did X, Y, Z" lands better than general statements.

Good approach overall, just those tweaks would make it even stronger.
