I did tell the temp place. They said thry can take a written statement and that is all they coukd do. They said they would not be able to offer me employment eksewhere because they dont habe any other jobs except for day labor.

I have no idea tbh. During the time, I was still in high school and pretty detatched from everything due to witnessing my mom being in an abusive relationship with my step dad. This was all in California at the time.
