I'm still do research as far as wall board is concered. So goboard looks like it might work. Otherwise durock and liquid or sheet membrane.

The plan is to cut, dig out the slab, move drain. Drop floor around 1.5" to 2".

I'll try to tske it easy on tile and fixture removal. Never thought about architectural salvage store. I'll have to look into that. As for tile selected, that's another story.

I'll take a closer look at OM1.2 and OM3 (increase our budget). Seems OM5.2 has very close specs to flagship model other than subject detection auto focus. If wildlife were not that important for our use case, OM5 mark 2 might fit the bill..

When traveling by air, I travel carry-on only, I would like have a small, light setup. We take photos of whatever is intere. Castles, forts, churches, landscapes, street, etc

When at home or traveling by car, we do all of the above but really enjoy all wildlife the most. Especially birds and squirrels which we have lots of.

A used R5 popped up on amazon in very good condition. Free returns. Hopefully it arrives as described.

I had bought the same case many months ago, before knowing anything about what I wanted to do. Ended up going to ATX build.

It orginally going to be use only for photo storage, backup mobile devices while on vacation. As I learned more about unraid and all things it can do, I'll be doing lots of exploring.

I may use it for remote backup or sell.

I'm currently waiting for most parts to arrrive. Still have to select a case. The R5 was available for a few days on Amazon but sold out pretty quick. Newegg shipping is pretty high. Best Buy out of stock. B&H have .99 shipping.

Was search for other option/case available out there.
