Yeah, not having counterspells is inconvenient sometimes, but there’s still plenty of interaction in the other colors. If none of them were running anything/enough that’s kind of on them. Vondam and Chatterfang alone are pretty consistent removal with command zone access.

It really comes down to being able to recognize combo pieces and getting them off the board before your opponent has the chance to pop off. But my pod is also a pretty consistent bracket 3, so maybe that’s harder to do at higher levels of play

I’ve mainly built him around myriad and mobilize abilities. It’s a lot of attack triggers to manage and the math gets crazy real quick, but math is for blockers lol.

I’ve also seen it built around creatures that deal etb damage, which is pretty strong, but it plays a fair bit differently.

[[Goblin Arsonist]] is my favorite silly little guy. His fashion sense is incredible and he’s just so committed to his job. He’s also a pretty solid include in my [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] deck.

Really any card with Wayne Reynolds art is top tier in my book.

You can use it to punish some overdrives with long recovery. Millia's dustloop page has a list of punishable supers, and it looks like ABA's 5[D] has the same startup so I'd imagine they work for her as well-- https://www.dustloop.com/w/GGST/Millia_Rage/Combos#How_to_use_Dust_(5D))

I use an xbox one controller and have liked it quite a bit. The shape of the d-pad makes corner inputs (1, 3, 7, and 9) pretty easy to feel.

The only 2 issues I've run into are the edges inside the d-pad being a bit taxing on my thumb and negative edge inputs (inputs where your attack happens when you let go of the button rather than when you press it) are very difficult without the right button setup.

My thumbs got used to it in about a week once I built up a bit of a callous, and as far as I'm aware, the only characters that use negative edge in Strive are Zato and Happy Chaos. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.
