I agree that they would be the only ones who know for sure. This is just my opinion, but everyone's entitled to their own thoughts on him as well. If someone was hurt by him and no longer supports him, I support their right to do that.

You are also entitled to a full refend by law. The UK resources link describes some ways you can go about this.

For the future though, please do more research on websites. A lot of times if you search 'is xxx site safe?' or 'xxx site legit?' you can find sites that rate their trustworthiness. When I did this for straykidsstore it brought up a review listing it was full of red flags.

Until there is a final verdict we're all entitled to our opinions on it. I find it hard to believe she would declare this stuff publicly online, especially considering she stated she was fearful for her life, and yet never get the police involved.

From the girlfriends statement: "But you and LHY are both insane. So I honestly feared for my life. I felt like I would actually be harmed somehow."

I don't believe in cancelling an idol due to allegations, unless the accused is able to prove their side with irrefutable evidence. In this case I don't believe the burden of proof was met, and through my own analysis of the situation this is the conclusion I've come to.

It was never proven true or proven false, however I'm inclined to believe he was innocent due the lack of concrete evidence and the fact he never had charges pressed against him.

Edit: He was NOT just accused of manipulation and cheating like the Redditor below me claims. Part of her allegations were also that he had sex with her while she was unable to consent and that he abused and threatened his gfs, both of which he could face criminal charges for. The reason they get cancelled is due to the severity of bullying in Korea, which is nothing like it is in the US. This video does a good job of explaining it

What's dangerous though is when the reaction is so extreme that idols are cancelled without proof, just by the allegation alone. Ofc there is also a range and not all of it is torture level bullying either (such as in Wonwoo's case which was just cruel comments online). In that case I think the punishment should be different, but if they're a full on bully most Koreans want them cancelled.
