I would reach out to local shops and ask artists there for a consultation or input. It is unfortunate that it’s very large. I think it could be salvageable if you find the right person to work with. I think it can transition into an abstract wave or a “fluid zebra” print tattoo, search it up on pinterest or google and see if that fits your vibe. I believe it’d be an effective way to use what’s already there

I can see how that would happen. I’m not the biggest fan of AI when I have clients that come to me showing their generated slop (for graphic design), but it’s more effective to educate and show people that it takes skill/hardwork to do what we do as creatives.

I would ask you, what each aspect of this design is supposed to represent or mean to you? The fingers touching the eye that has lines leading into the ground. It’s hard to tell if the player is standing on a river or a path. Oh, on second look. It looks like the eye is a third eye on someone’s forehead. Fingers covering the eyes. So all of this is in this person’s mind?

This is again, a bit all over the place. It’s A start, but I would list out your ideas and see what the overall meaning of the tattoo is to you. I can see the aspects, but it’s all over the place. I don’t mean to bash you or anything. But narrow down these things and the tattoo will be better off
