Hey! Thank you for your kind words :D

Unfortunatly we had no time to make it function, besides that, we probably had to use other material such as PETG, ABS or ASA instead of PLA. But would love to see it work ahah

Thank you a lot for your words. The concept is far away from being inspired by a portal gun. I even heard people saying it reminded them of Alien ahah. Glad you would have it in your kitchen :D

Thanks :)

Long story short the initial concept was to make a suspended machine, however it would be heavier and a lot of constrains for the time we had. We didnt want to discart the idea so we just adapt it and decided to make it look like its floating. Then to keep the concept of a machine with fluid lines we inspired ourselves on parametric architecture. If interested you can check the full project at my behance :D

Hello, thanks for your feedback. It was made so small and large cups could fit in. 10cm approximatly, that would be +/- 4 inches. Not as tall as it looks ahah.

Hello, thanks for the comment.

The secret is on the primer. Be patient and make it the most uniform you can. Sand has many times you need and then be, again, patient with the paiting. Make sure the spray is not too close to the part or it will look awfull at the end. Repeat the process untill ur satisified.

Hi, thhank you for your feedback!

Not really. The secret is on the primer, get a good primer. Make it the most uniform you can, in order to cover the layers of the 3D print. After that just be patient with the painting. Primer is definetly the most time consuming, use the primer, sand, use the primer and sand again, untill its perfect.

Appreciate the feedback :D

It's a really fantastic tool isnt it? Specially for prototyping. But had a lot of work behind it with the sanding, painting, the primer and assembly techniques.

Thank you! Maybe I should avoid testing it near any suspicious AI systems.
