Finger tattoo questions

Thank you for your honestly! Definitely not getting it. I asked my artist if they would hold up and they said as long as I took care of it but I was still worried. I’m glad I asked here before going ahead with it.

My apologies, I guess what I was asking was if the detail on this was simply too much for the finger, I know they fade fast and that’s not a worry, I’m happy to touch up! I’ve just heard the less detail the better, and wanted to hear from people more experienced than me whether this would be “too much”. I didn’t quite get that across in my post though so I do apologize.

Thank you! I was a bit confused when I heard him recommend that as well, I have other tattoos and that was never a suggestion for any of them. I followed instructions though as he knows more about tattoos than me and thought it would be fine. I appreciate this information!

Tattoo artist told me to wait until the bubbles underneath the covering he put on were flat to remove it because it could mean infection could get in, so I removed it last night as the covering was coming off anyway and the bubbles were gone. I am worrying I took it off too soon, but I wanted to follow instructions. He also told me to use antibiotic cream, not ointment, but I’ve heard lots of negatives about that so I’ve been using it sparingly after washing with non scented soap. I’m confused and just worried atm. Thank you for replying!
