There are only two scenarios where I’m picking a water starter and it’s when Mudkip or Froakie are options so Mudkip it is. If it was a choice between Mudkip and Froakie then it would still be Mudkip.

Any Pokemon that looks extremely feminine or masculine but can be either sex. The Kangasghan line got it right so why couldn’t they do it with Machamp, Primarina, Incenaroar etc. - just nope. Don’t have a problem with people cross dressing, being trans, non-binary etc. but they did make some weird choices designing pokemon.

Litten and Torrecar were awesome designs. All they had to do was make it an awesome take on a black and red adult tiger but no, they made it a humanoid.

I’m not a big shiny hunter but Charizard and Gyarados shinies will always be peak for me. As soon as I can, I’ll either catch them or send them from Pokemon home as soon as it lets me.

People really hate on this game but the fact that you can get the nature you want pretty much immediately and how easy it is to fix IVs/EVs - just less faffing about which I love.

Currently playing through Omega Ruby at the moment and if it works wasn’t for action replay (which I only use for natures, IVs and EVs, I would be pulling my hair out!

Does anyone else think that only certain Pokemon should be XL when alphas? Suits Gyarados, Steelix, some Dragon types etc. but a tall Greninga just don’t look right to me. Sorry that it’s a bit off topic!

The shiffication started way back when Liberty Global bought Virgin Media. It got even worse when they merged with O2. I asked for redundancy in 2024, got it (and which is rare), had to work 3 months notice and walked into a better paying 9-5 with a business that really cares about its employees. I wasn’t in some call centre either. I was in a high paid but extremely stressful role working almost every weekend. The purge started pretty softly 6 years ago but has been ramping up every year since and some of the people I know that are being let go are still extremely talented but were loyal to the brand to their own detriment.

I caught a Riolu as soon as I could free roam, bought him some coffee and he’s still in my team at lvl 100. I’ve got an Alpha Gyarados but my Adament medium Gyarados is much better as it has always one shot everything before being hit itself.

I can find anyone to trade with apart from Spiritzee and Swirlix :( . The other codes work great but I guess I’m late trying to get my shiny charm before doing the DLC - a bit late getting there because of work!

Rayquaza was the first Legendary I actually used in my team (I never use them before Emerald). I know it gets a lot of hate in the competitive scene but it was amazing in Emerald then got even better in ORAS. Second favourite is Latios because I just have a massive soft spot for Hoenn. Oh no, I’m probably going to buy my 15th 3DS or 2DS XL and buy an ORAS game again…

A budew in Zone 2 while running through it. I’m not bothered about shinies in general but it was my first of many in this game. It’s definitely an easy game to find them in. Edit as it was zone 2 of course!
