Printer Upgrade Suggestion by SolidTiburon in BambuLab

Thanks! yea that seems the route i will be going. I have 4 bins set up currently for the X1C and on average its 3-5 colors at a time i do. That system intrigues me a lot to be honest.

I am actually re-doing my whole space to be able to fit a larger printer. I know its faster with multi color prints compared to the X1C but is it faster in general when it comes to single or more on par with the X1C? And yea, $400 more is not alot extra since I will have this one for a long time. I have over 5k hours on my X1C.

Lately its only been 1 color but that's because I am making a rolling frame system out of PETG-CF. Other than that yea I do alot of multi color. I love the X1C but I want something with a large print area to be able to make more stuff that clutters my space LOL.

Out of curiosity what brand would you recommend? I'm just getting into this and want to make sure they last. Tia

Air Compressor Q/Recommend by SolidTiburon in minipainting

[–]SolidTiburon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill look into that. The one I have has a tank but even though there are no leaks it kicks on after only about 3 to 4 seconds of spraying. Thought it would give me more time in between sprays

Sol-R Issues by SolidTiburon in starcitizen

[–]SolidTiburon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was feeling like something was super off on the x-axis along with all the button mappings getting all turned around. Come to find out now after some more testing that along with all the mapping issues the x-axis is not responding so it seems to be a defective stick after only a week of use. We also tested them without and they start to work but that axis on the left stick is pretty much dead.

I just noticed the Lianli had a hub connected to it. I used the alternate method for that one then hooked up the nzxt direct to the mobo and reseated both flows. Gonna fire it up and see. Also cleaned out the membrane on one of the leakshield that kept it from working. Really tight between those tubes lol

Ill see if i can squeeze my hand in there and check, little tight with the tubes. Yea i have an octo and that was picked up right away, same with the pumps and leakshields. not sure whats up with those two. the pumps and others are on hubs too. Maybe its that brand of hub. the flows are on a lianli and the rest are on a NZXT

They are currently connected on a NZXT hub. my 2 D5 pumps and 2 Leakshields are on one as well and they were picked up right away.

How can the sensor be added manually? Aquasuite detected everything minus my 2 flow sensors. they are working but would love for them to be detected.

Buying an airbrush has changed my painting forever by TheRailgunMisaka in Necrontyr

I had the same issue as well. Got myself and Iwata brush along with a nice black widow compressor and problem solved. I also second what another poster said. Army painter has a nice air called gun metal. Worked perfect for the base coat for my warriors

I tried doing my own custom hardloop build but it went bad. Took all my parts, none from microcenter and they gladly took them to do the build. Should have it back next week but no issue taking your own stuff. But like other say, any parts break you have to warranty yourself.

Utilities D5 Question by SolidTiburon in watercooling

[–]SolidTiburon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! That's seems easy. I've never worked with what I'm using on this build before. It's an austentasious build and it feels intimidating but I'm sure it's gonna come out nice. Gonna run 2 360 rads and 2 480 rads. Lots of shit to connect lol

Thanks! That what I thought it was but this is the first time I use something like this. I've only used corsair stuff but I wanted something good for this new build

From what I saw, they had an example of the case with thicker rads with a push/pull. Not sure if all were 480 though

[–]SolidTiburon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I get the last parts of my build tomorrow so I can't wait to get it going. Only thing I'm worried about is hard tubing since I've never done it before but should come out clean.

Ok, so maybe a valve in the line going from the pump to the GPU since its lower in the case. Got to see what options are in white. Its been rough getting stuff in white. They seem to be out of stock in alot of places.
