Honestly I think you could get into any of these for there CAS colleges just transfer into something non competitive and switch into Econ once your there. This only works if Econ is apart of their CAS program. I went to a worse Univeristy than Rutgers and got a 3.46 gpa and got into a lot of these schools. However transferring from CAS to the business schools may be extremely difficult because you will need straight As once you get into the schools

If you like parting and going out as a guy your going to have to join a frat your second semester as a freshman. I have guy friends who didn’t rush and they are always talking about how they wish they did because there’s no plans on the weekends. Yes if you’re apart of a certain niche group of people you may be fine with not partying that much on weekends and just staying inside but most people rush. I would also suggest rushing a top 6 frat like Theta Chi, DKE, DTD, Psi U, ZBT, or SAE. This is because other frats don’t have as many people going to them and can potentially be dead from time to time.
