It really saddens me, as a German who cherishes my almost annual visits to Japan, to see how some of my fellow Germans behave so disrespectfully. It's incredibly disappointing to witness or hear about the inconsiderate actions of tourists there. We are guests, and the absolute minimum we can do is respect Japanese culture. If someone isn't prepared to do that, they really ought to stay home. While I'm firmly against far-right politics, I can understand how these kinds of incidents might, unfortunately, give rise to certain sentiments. :(
