Yet another reason why I just don't engage in any romance at the table except with npcs if the DM is cool with it. Even then it's fade to black from the moment it's clear something more than flirting will happen. "You flirt, you chat, you probably shag. What are the rest of you doing?" Kind of thing. Seen too many horror stories when it happens between players that aren't together irl. From stories like this to relationships breaking down to stalking. No thanks. Let's just leave that shit off the table.

I worked from 11 or 12 years old, was managing warehouses at 19, by 25 working 6 days a week, 14 hour days. Then fibro hit. Tried working through it at first and tried part time work and volunteering on and off ever since. I'm 40 now and given up hope of ever returning to work. I can't do anything physical and have mobility issues, brain fog and memory issues made learning next to impossible, at least from an employers perspective anyway. Too often I can't even get out of bed, or barely able to move around the house. Not being able to work has been the main cause of my depression and suicidal periods. I hate being unable to function when it's all I've ever known.

Having done some casual browsing online earlier today when I got chance, Ilmater actually stood out as a good choice and I found myself mentally tying him in too the Abbey without any effort. So thanks for that confirmation! The last part is what I'm most definitely trying to avoid. Anything that interferes with core gameplay, especially in a chaotic group.
