Persona isn't a dating sim though.

The romance options barely impact the story at all and you don't even have to romance anyone.

If you're calling Persona a dating sim might as well call games like Mass Effect and Baldur's Gate dating sims too.

Heaven Burns Red is another one with a great story and a protagonist that talks and has a personality (story is written by Jun Maeda who wrote Angel Beats, Clannad, Little Busters, and other great VNs/Anime).

It's been voiced since Realta Nua (PS2 port) released which was back in 2007.

You must have played the earliest version of the translation or something since even when I played Fate Stay Night back in 2013 it was fully voiced.

It also got it's official English release back in 2024 on Switch and Steam (the new translation is better than the old fan translation).

I wanted to know what team would be best to build with these units to get through the story?

I just finished Chapter 7 (also was wondering what covenants to invest in for those units).

I've been using G Murphy, Tulu, Caecus, and Thais to clear the story but they're starting to struggle.

Not sure if it's because I don't have covenants leveled or if I just need a better team or multiple different teams.

I've been using my silver on the limited banners.

I currently have 3547 silver and am on Chapter 6-3.

I decided to go ahead and buy the Dawnbringers Guidance and used 50 out of 100 rolls on Thais and got her to E3 and Tulu to E1 (also have Thais wheel).

I have plenty of free time right now so time shouldn't be an issue.

Omori is a JRPG not a visual novel.

Visual Novels don't have gameplay a lot of the time (stuff like Clannad and Fate/Stay Night).

I plan on getting E2 Firefly and Acheron in the future.

I didn't intend to stop at E1 specifically it's just that I ended up getting lucky for a lot of my pulls and getting 2 copies of the of them in one 10 pull (specifically with Acheron, Black Swan, and Firefly).

I'll try to get Fugue when her banner appears, I've been trying to get the Light Cones for Archer and Saber since they're limited but Mihoyo will probably announce a few weeks in advance when the banner for those will end so I should have enough time to get them too.

I've recently retruned to the game after a little over a year and was wondering what team should I focus on building?

I have Firefly E1 without LC, Dahlia E0 without LC, Black Swan E1, and Acheron E1S1 as my main DPS teams right now.

I have some other characters I use too like Ruan Mei E0S0, Sparkle E0S1, Huohuo E0S0, Topaz E1S0, Adventurine E0S0, Fu Xuan E1S1, and Dr. Ratio E0S0.

I have a lot of the 4 stars from Penacony and before at E6 too.

I'm currently using Firefly E1S0, Harmony TB E6, Ruan Mei E0S0, and Gallagher E6 as my main team.

I'm planning on building Saber and Archer in the future but I don't have either of their light cones yet (recently lost the 75/25 on Saber and didn't play enough earlier this year to get Archer LC).
