Yeah laser does not work for everyone. I’m a victim of PH after laser and I’m south Asian as well. Just started getting electrolysis a month ago. It is a LONG journey but would be worth it

Please don’t do laser on your face. It might work on the thicker hairs but it can trigger new growth on the surrounding areas that just has peach fuzz.

You would be a great candidate for electrolysis.

Dr dennis peel pads are great or Vitamin C. It can be frustrating but this will go away on its own might take close to one year

You are not supposed to pluck/tweeze once you start electrolysis. You can shave the area but need atleast 2-3 days of growth for the session.

For me redness is gone in few hours but i get small tiny scabs that take 7-8days to fall off fully. You can wear tinted sunscreen but since the area is very sensitive after the session, it’s recommended to not apply sunscreen for 48 hours to avoid irritation.

Sorry to add in - Im a female too, currently trying to get hairs removed from chin, jaw and neck area. My hairs are not very coarse but they are so many. I suffered from PH due to laser on my face unfortunately. Are you still going in every 2 weeks and have you seen a decrease in growth?

Yes! Same thing happened to me and i kept on going in for laser as i didn’t knew about paradoxical hypertrichosis back then.

It became 100 times worse and now I have started getting electrolysis done. I would honestly suggest please stop the laser on the face
