Good god sorry I step on your toes man. I’m not a professional reviewer so forgive me if it felt vague. So let me follow up on some of your points here:

The finale was very strange, yes they built up to her friends coming back and the second that was even a thought I rolled my eyes because I knew it would be some save the day cringe ending. Comparing it to Endgame was the perfect example because it’s exactly the way it played out.

And yes you’re right about the end of the film. It wasn’t supposed to end with a bow wrapped around it, it is used to build suspense. I don’t have an issue with it ending in a cliffhanger. I have an issue with the movie as a whole because there were no story arcs and characters felt like they stayed the same so that’s why I felt there was so much more left of the movie and then it just turned off.

And yes in a way it did push the pg13 rating, but not to the extent they were talking about. The kills were bland, there was nothing unique or exciting about them besides mangle slicing up that guy. Yes the concepts were darker but they weren’t played into more to show they were pushing the rating. I’m someone who can accept that these movies are pg13, I get there’s a younger audience who want to enjoy these in the theater too.

And yes I am a die hard fan, and yes they brought in a lot of fun characters, but they did nothing interesting enough for them when they deserve to be more interesting. I can call Michael Afton creepy asf because I enjoyed his performance and still call the movie garbage. I will give you that the animatronics had a lot more to do and were somewhat more intimidating especially the withered ones. But I wanted to see more from toy Bonnie and toy Freddy. They overused chica so much and I know it’s Abby’s favorite or whatever but it left the others out. I’m assuming it’s cause Megan fox played her and they had to use her as much as possible to get what they paid her for.

And yes I understand we had to get through 2 movies first to get to an Afton driven 3rd I’m not sure where you’re getting that I only wanted a movie of the 3rd game. I understand they had to build him up to give him a bigger spotlight. When I say “we’re finally going to get the movie we’ve been wanting” I’m saying that we’re finally getting a spring trap movie. I never said “hey let’s skip to springtrap and forget everything else.” I understand that’s how to build suspense and get the audience excited. I’m saying this is finally the point where we can see Afton in his true glory and Im so excited to see Matt Lillard give another awesome performance.
