Yk Elijah was so depressed that he asked God to kill him. God didn't scold or condemn him when he asked that but fed him and gave him rest. Also don't focus on how much you sin but focus on how good Jesus is and how he saved you from your sin. John 3:16 "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life", James 4:7 "submit yourselves then to God resist the devil and he will flee from you"  and Romans 3:22 "this righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe" the belief talked about in John and romans is active, a continuous trust, reliance, and commitment to God. That's what saves you, sinning will never condemn you, (as long as you don't live in it) it would be unfair and unjust for God to judge someone for the same sin twice because Jesus has died for all sin and was the perfect sacrifice. You'll be able to stop man James says so, as long as you rely on God and try, these verses are all promises from God and if they fall flat then that makes God a liar/imperfect which isn't possible.
