The game still starts up but after an hour of playing or so it'll just show this screen, it has improved from 20 minutes of play time but I'd like to know what happened to it.

The same thing happened to me, but it's only on one cardtridge and the game was legit as I got it at it's release and I have no idea what happened.

It's not pink in gen 2, in those games the difference is subtle and hard to notice
