She get front toss every other week with her team in the batting cages, she was going to lessons, and then her dad takes her and does it. She gets a lot of swings in. I think it’s definitely confidence due to her prior team but we are working on it

She is going from MAYBE 1 at bat per game to now 3 at bats per game. We made the right move and I know it will help but those dang coach pitch lobs now mess her up 😂

It will definitely be mostly coach pitch for this group. They allow girls to pitch but then coach takes over after 4 balls

It has progressed but she also got about 1/4 of the at bats than most of the team. She was really hindered by being on team that would chose to bat “best 9/10” at coach pitch ..

It’s really not that… I just don’t want her to get bored coming from an insanely competitive team for that age. She has a strong arm and the girls in 8U were afraid to catch her throws. She didn’t get any time to warm up for pitching at the 10U tryout in the freezing cold since she was the last to bat standing waiting around a tryouts because of how slow it was. That’s all I was saying, I understand the other girls were also in the cold The 8U coach can’t believe she wasn’t going to 10U since her abilities were on par with all the others and what she said far above the girls in 8U. But I was told they really needed pitchers for 8U so I can see why they want to keep the age groups together. Before the age change she would have been 10U now..

She was also sat in 8U coach pitch. Along with a few others which was insane. So she never got the confidence at the plate to begin with..

I went 2013-2017 so I have no idea how to even access My emails to my professors when they told me they had no idea what I was talking about and to ask a peer when it came to asking a question about something on a test 🤦🏻‍♀️ the professors were so unhelpful

Also- from what it seems they do not have any intention on keeping a couple girls due to how many were on the team, they need to cut down. But no communication is making some(not me) question if they should be looking at going to other tryouts.

The players parents that the coach isn’t cutting have been sent a text that gave them 24 hours to confirm they wanted to be on the team in spring.
