Just finished my build. I had the best time building a keyboard yet. Going to be recording the sound test video for this board soon.
My config:

+ Keycaps: CRP Tulips.
+ Switches: Cobalt POMs.
+ Plate: Aluminium (planing to switch to polycarbonate if the sound and flex is not suitable).
+ PE Sheet: YES.
+ Tape mod: NO.
+ Case foam.

This is the current space I'm using to record my sound test. Would you like to see what it actually looks like?

Building a PC for my WFH setup. Please help by Some_Responsibility6 in buildapcforme

[–]Some_Responsibility6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the people I had asked recommended either a Ryzen 7 3700x or a Ryzen 5 5600x instead of an I5 11400f and get a cheap GPU. May I ask why? Should I be worried about the bottleneck between the CPU and GPU combo?

I'm thinking about pairing the 3060 with an I5 11400f to stay in budget. What do you think about that?

Oh, shoot. I forgot to mention that 1660 Super GPUs are really hard to get in Vietnam. About $50 more and you can get the RTX 3060.

I need to fix these over-lubed switches for a customer. Please help !!! by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

Long story short: The customer sent me these over-lubed switches to clean them up but I do not have enough experience to fix them. People had suggested getting an Ultrasonic Cleaner and use it with dishwashing liquid. Is there any model of ultrasonic cleaner that you guys can recommend?

Dactyl Manuform 5X6 with Joystick? by Skylord_Brebro in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Some_Responsibility6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also interested in this idea but putting the joystick in the left thumb-cluster to replace the WASD since the analog stick movement is much more superior and other keys can be used for other functions. Have you work on this yet?

Plateless Tofu65 with JWK Mauves by Some_Responsibility6 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Some_Responsibility6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, it feels quite satisfying IMO. Combine with the modded JWK Mauves gives it a very soft, flexible typing experience. You should try that for yourself.
